Bangus Karaage Ala King

 

Serves 2


Ingredients

225g Napoleons Bangus Karaage (Cooked to packaging instructions)
1 cup Cooked White Rice

Ala King Sauce
3 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp minced garlic
3 tbsp All Purpose Flour
1 cup Fresh Milk
¼ cup Cheddar Cheese grated
½ tsp Black Pepper
½ tsp Salt
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp Carrot minced

Side Dish
1 Carrot small diced
¼ can Corn Kernel drained
¼ cup Green Peas
1 tbsp butter

 

Preparation

  1. Cook Napoleons Bangus Karaage According to packaging instructions
  2. In a sauce pan, blanch diced carrots for 30 seconds drain and set aside
  3. In a saute pan, melt 1 tbsp butter and add carrots (blanched), corn kernel and green peas, saute for 2 minutes and set aside.
  4. In a sauce pan add Butter and melt, add minced garlic cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add flour and cook for 1 minute
  6. Slowly add milk and simmer until slightly thicken
  7. Add grated cheddar cheese and stir to melt
  8. Add water or milk if sauce is too thick
  9. Add minced carrot and chopped fresh parsley for color
  10. Season with salt, black pepper

 

Assembly

  1. Place 1 cup rice in a plate,
  2. Assemble cooked Bangus Karaage,
  3. Add Carrot-Corn-Pea side dish,
  4. Drizzle with Ala king Sauce on top of bangus karaage
